Bev Morgan and all the hat makers of the old brass and copper days to
numerous to mention. We use proven technology and age proven materials.
Bronze was chosen for the shell due to it strength, durability, and
compatibility with saltwater environments. We concentrate on keeping the
parts to a minimum and the construction as simple as possible. This is to
make maintenance quick and easy. Parts that need to be replaced due to
wear and tear are kept to a minimum and most are "off the shelf" and
common to other helmets. We are not trying to get rich off of numerous
expensive parts. These helmets are built to last longer than you or me.
